Cada rostro cuenta una historia – Photo Exhibition at George Washington University

(Español) Agradecida con el equipo organizador de la conferencia Convergencias, quienes me invitaron a presentar las historias y fotografías de 10 mexicanos que viven en Washington DC. El objetivo de la exposición es mostrar la diversidad de la comunidad mexicana en la región, al igual que la identidad binacional de cada persona. La exposición estuvo en la Universidad George Washington a principios de abril, y en las próximas semanas irá a otras partes de la ciudad. También quiero agradecerle a todas aquellas personas que entrevisté y que me dejaron contar sus historias. Me siento muy orgullosa de pertenecer a la comunidad de mexicanos en esta ciudad.

(English) Grateful to the Convergencias conference team for inviting me to present 10 stories and photos of Mexicans living in Washington DC. The objective of the exhibition is to show the diversity of the Mexican community in the region, as well as the binational identity that each person presents. The exhibition was at George Washington University in early April, and in the coming weeks it will go to other parts of the city. I would like to thank all of the people that let me interview them, and that opened their hearts to talk about their personal journeys. I feel very proud to be a part of the Mexican community living in Washington DC.
