Some days ago I worked as a journalist and bilingual facilitator for the international youth symposium “Making Youth Policy Happen”, organized by the British Council in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico. Around 50 young leaders gathered together to exchange experiences on how to effectively work with youth, and how to re-create youth policy in many Latin American countries.
What do I take from this experience?
An opportunity to work with a inclusive, open-minded and diverse team where the regional aspects of the location of the event were taken into account – as the program was not imposed, it was constantly modified. It was an opportunity for Latin American young entrepreneurs to get inspired, discuss and continue leading change in their communities.
Here’s my blog post on the 5 Highlights from “Making Youth Policy Happen” and in Spanish: Los 5 Mejores Momentos de: “Hacer la Politica Juvenil una Realidad”.
Plus some images of the symposium:

Cheers!
